ZEIDA ROTHMAN—Founder
of the California School of Professional Fabric Design™

For 25 years, Zeida Rothman designed printed fabrics for major American apparel and Home Furnishing Textile Manufacturers. Based in New York’s Garment District, Zeida had her own design company designing for clients such as Wamsutta Sheets, Fieldcrest Cannon, Burlington Industries, Schumacher Fabrics and Rugs.

Her diverse design skills assisted manufacturers that produced upholstery, lingerie, bath products, gift wrap, paper products towels and a wide variety of men's, women's and children's apparel.

Her designs appear on products in most major stores nationwide. She was commissioned to design an original collection of fabrics for Rock Star Elton John.

Wallpaper and Sheet designs by Zeida have been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Elle and Vogue Magazines.

Zeida lectures internationally and does corporate consulting for design interiors. She has developed the highly successful OPTIMUM DESIGN APPROACH™ at the California School of Professional Fabric Design™, that has assisted hundreds of new professional designers enter into the Textile and Surface Design Industry.
