The Optimum Design Approach
|
Developed over thirty years by Zeida Rothman, the founder of the California School of Professional Fabric Design, the Optimum Design Approach is an accelerated teaching method that has helped hundreds of students become professional fabric and surface designers in a remarkably short amount of time.
This approach is simply the most direct way weve seen, to assist our students in getting employed in the textile and surface pattern design industries. We know this because our graduates work for some top companies like Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Hallmark and Bed, Bath and Beyond to name a few.
Amazing many of these new designers began with no art background at all.
The Optimum Design Approach is simple in concept, but rare in execution: Take the time to learn. Do it step by step. Begin to trust yourself.
You will experience intensive training, that is results oriented. We will work with you one on one, with meticulous guidance, refining your skills, until they become intuitive and second nature. Eventually you will find the work itself will guide you.
Portfolio Specialization
We dont just give you a few classes in portfolio development. We give you a career.
The portfolio you will be creating is a specialized career-oriented portfolio that is geared towards interviews for free-lance and full-time employment.
